Before leaving Papua New Guinea, I took some photos of the native dwellings from various provinces and villages that students had been building on the playing field in preparation for the Cultural Festival to take place Saturday a week later.
But more exciting still was the parade and dancing that took place on the day of the festival, which I did not see, since I had to come home. But Fr. Ariel posted a ton of photos on his Facebook page, and gave me permission to post them on my blog. I would have loved to see all this firsthand. But this is the best I could do.
There are so many photos, I just have to post a second entry. Stay tuned.
